New magnetic hearing implant - Sophono Alpha 1

The Sophono Alpha 1 implant is a new alternative to the conventional bone anchored hearing aid. It is fitted under intact skin. The sound processor is held in place by magnets. With no skin-penetrating abutment, problems with hygiene, pain and infection are largely eliminated.
